i’ve known people who use peroxide to whiten their teeth. and they are like ssssoooo white. there great. but i also heard its not good for your teeth. and that it eats away your enamel. so i was thinking maybe if i dont do it everyday it will be ok. like a couple times every week. not eveery day. but do i gargle? if so how much? or do i brush with it? i usually use tooth paste that has baking soda in it i love it. but lately just teeth whitening tooth paste. please help! tell me how, how long, how often, and how much, and if its safe or not! thanks

I hope you aren’t talking about hydrogen peroxide that comes in the brown bottle or the peroxide people use to bleach there hair.
The peroxide used for teeth whitening is a peroxide gel that the dentist puts on your teeth. Don’t bother using the brown bottle peroxide it might foam your mouth but wouldn’t do much more… the kind used to bleach your hair is usually mixed with other nasty chemicals so I wouldn’t suggest that either.
Why not just bite the bullet and have a dentist do it… one time and your done.

Right. All whiteners strip the enamel off your teeth. Some more than others.
You may not care now, but you will in a few years when everything you eat or drink hurts.
Plus whitening looks stupid. People think “wow, that looks unnatural and stupid.” Not “gee, I wish my teeth looked that unnatural …”

i got my teeth whitened the other day by a dentist and they did the worst job. my teeth look even worse
