My mom has had teeth whitening done recently. She continually complains how much pain she’s experiencing. Is this normal? what can she do to help her teeth not be so sensitive?

the layer of calcium which has deposited on the teeth gets removed in the process of teeth whitening. as the teeth get exposed, they become more sensitive to hot, cold etc. this is a problem of a few days and will get over soon. dont worry.

    It’s a common side effect of over-whitening.
Those products remove tooth enamel. That’s why her teeth are sensitive.
Besides looking dumb (teeth that show up in the dark are unnatural), it’s unhealthy. (Pain is your body’s way of saying you’ve done something wrong to it.)
