If you use any kind of whitening it could weaken the enamel on your teeth, and also cause there to be white spots. It sometimes whitens certain parts of the teeth more. I prefer the whitening trays, but if your going to use strips, the crest whitening strips are good. I think the active ingredient should be carbamide peroxide, so make sure it has that in it. You could also try the strips you put on at night, I heard those work really well also.

If you have braces, (most likely not) when they come off, the parts around them are white and the parts where the braces were are not. If you don’t have braces, teeth whitening strips basically just stain your teeth. They’re not dangerous, but they can be a hassle. Just try a whitening toothpaste certified by the ADA.

I’ve used the crest strips twice and my teeth are white as anything, people will definatly notice a difference. After about 3 – 5 days your teeth will feel weak and your gums will become sore and sensitive, brushing your teeth is difficult. But if you can deal with it for a couple of weeks its well worth it and you’ll get better in no time.
